The NW S.P.C.A. believes that raising people's awareness is the best insurance against cruelty to animals. The Society's believes that education plays a leading role in raising public awareness by providing a comprehensive service in animal welfare education for students, teachers, youth organisations and the general public with a focus on life-long learning and promotes respect and compassion for animals in all sections of our community and beyond. GREAT DAY AT ANIMAL BLESSING IN BALLINA
An animal blessing took place on Sunday 30th November in the grounds of Ballina Cathedral. There was a great turnout with over a hundred people, dogs and cats.

We are able to help animals because of the generous support from animal lovers just like you. Your donations helped to provide vaccinations, worming and flea treatment for puppies under the care of the North West S.P.C.A. You too can help by sending us a donation and helping little puppies like Betty pictured here. Your help can also pay for spaying and neutering to help prevent unwanted kittens and puppies, and can also help with veterinary bills for injured and abused animals
