About Us
The North West Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is based in Ballina, in County Mayo. We are manned entirely by volunteers and we are constantly working to promote animal welfare in the Northwest. The NWSPCA receive 40 to 60 calls a day regarding neglect and cruelty, these cases involve dogs, cats, horses, goats and donkeys. As a voluntary group we do what we can with limited resources but we also need the public's help through increased volunteers, donations and fosterer's to help us to raise awareness.
One of our volunteers
The Northwest SPCA could not function without the kind support of its volunteers, it is these people that enable us to carry out the work that we do in rescuing and re homing abused and neglected animals.
Billy although based in London gives great assistance to the Northwest SPCA, if you feel that you could help in any way please contact us at nwspca@gmail.com
