Homes Wanted
Please read the information on this page before viewing the animals.
Whilst we welcome all enquiries, please only call if you can provide the following conditions for your dog: - An indoor home
- A garden that is fully enclosed by walls or secure fencing (not hedges)
- There is somebody home in the day – dogs are pack animals and need company.
- Your dog will require a collar and identification disc.
Also, please ensure you fully discuss this big decision with all members of your family. If you can’t provide the above conditions, then our dogs are unsuitable for you. And please note that we do carry out a home check. Most of our adult dogs have been neutered, vaccinated, flea-treated and wormed before re-homing. However, in cases where they haven’t, this will need to be carried out at a later date.
Cats:
Whilst we welcome all enquiries, please only call if you can provide the following conditions for your cat: - An indoor home
- Your cat will require a collar and identification disc.
- If you get a long haired-cat, you will need to set time aside for grooming.
- In addition to feeding your cat, you will need to provide a litter tray, litter, toys, bowls, bedding etc.
If you can’t provide the above conditions, then our cats are unsuitable for you. And please note that we do carry out a home check. Most of our adult cats have been neutered, vaccinated, flea-treated and wormed before re-homing. However, in cases where they haven’t, this will need to be carried out at a later date.
We are always looking for suitable outlets for our feral cats. Typically, we look for a safe environment where they can be fed and sheltered on a regular basis without intrusion into their lifestyle. Feral cats are not friendly and approachable animals and a suitable home would be something like a working stable or a farm where the cats can be used to help control rat and mice infestation. Requirements: - We would prefer to rehome them two at a time – so they have company.
- They would need to be confined to a secure shed initially so they can see their new surroundings outside; otherwise they are likely to just run off.
- They must have access to water and be fed properly. They can’t live off bread and milk and whatever they catch. In fact, although cats will drink milk, it is not good for them as the majority of cats are lactose intolerant and milk can make them ill.
Please note they will be neutered, wormed and ear-tipped. There are so many of these cats and nowhere for them to go. Unfortunately, these are the ones that get shot, poisoned etc. Please consider offering them a home if the circumstances are suitable.
Please telephone us with any enquiries you have and we will very happily discuss our animals and their requirements with you.
